Dr Sihle Nhlabathi

Dr Sihle Nhlabathi obtained her medical degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006 and obtained her psychiatric qualification at Stellenbosch University (SU) in 2015. Dr Nhlabathi was awarded a Discovery Foundation Grant for pursuing her sub-specialty degree in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Stellenbosch.

She successfully completed her degree and her research focused on the utility of social media as information basis for primary carers and families of patients with dementia.

Dr Nhlabathi currently runs a highly successful private practice that focuses on the mental health needs of older adults.
