Dr Norma Mohr is a medical doctor with 28 years of clinical experience in various disciplines of Medicine. She graduated in 1995 at the University of Stellenbosch with a MBChB degree.
After completing her Internship at Tygerberg Hospital, she worked as a Medical Officer in North West for 2 years and then accepted a Resident Medical Officer post at Pinehill Hospital in the UK. Upon return to South Africa, she worked as a clinical researcher for 2 years at the MRC Unit for Stress and Anxiety Disorders, Tygerberg Hospital.
She and her family relocated to the Karoo in 2003. She worked in General Private Practice for 7 years and then as Clinical Manager at Wilhelm Stahl Hospital, Department of Health E/C for 9 years.
She accepted an appointment at the Psychogeriatric Unit at Stikland Hospital in 2020. She is committed to working closely with patients, families and other professionals for well-rounded medical care, while working as part of a team to prioritise patientā€™s needs.
